John Melis

John Melis is a founding member of Legal AU Pty Ltd and has over 25 years’ experience holding various Director roles in corporate industry in dealing with commercial disputes within Australia, China, Hong Kong and Japan in cross boarder transactions, where disputes are intense due to the different cultural backgrounds, and where financial losses are significant if parties cannot find mutual ground to agree upon. John has worked 10 years on an international level mediating between parties to achieve settlements in commercial transactions. John says cultural diversity between people is one of the greatest challenges to achieve mutual ground upon, as everything is time sensitive, with the integrity of the individuals involved being of the utmost importance, because without it, all fails. John has a Diploma in Law from the Legal Profession Admission Board NSW and is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria and holds a current legal practising certificate.

Kevin Abbott

Kevin Abbott is a founding member of Legal AU Pty Ltd and has over 45 years’ experience as a Legal Practitioner and Barrister. Kevin is a visonary for the future with bringing oldways of legal services into the 21st century where legal services are more accessible and cost efficient for the consumer, while placing more accountability on the legal professional that is carrying out the clients important matters. Kevin is an acknowledged member of the community, with formally holding the position of Mayor of Nunawading (Whitehorse) Council. Kevin over his career provided extensive legal services thoughout the community. Kevin has a Diploma in Law from the Council Of Legal Education Victoria, is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria and holds a current legal practising certificate.

Peter Danigelis

Peter Danigelis is a founding memeber of Legal AU Pty Ltd, and has over 20 years’ experience in medicine, specializing in procedural process. Peter believes that diversity and being distruptive for the benefit of society improves the life quality of all people, and that technology is there to achieve those results. Peter has held various Company Director Board positions, with strong emphasis on corporate governance, and regulatory compliance requirements. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Pharmacy and Bachelor of Law and is admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria. 

Yang Jun

Yang Jun is a founding memeber of Legal AU Pty Ltd, and has over 8 years’ experience in medicine as a pharmacist, specializing in hosptial process. Yang Jun believes that technology is a postive distruption for all consumers which enhances quality of life for the entire community. Yang Jun has been instumental in the backend development of Legal AU from design to implemntation with strong emphasis on structures and internal processing of digital file systems. 

Bradley O'Hara

Bradley O’Hara is a founding memeber of Legal AU Pty Ltd, and has over 20 years’ experience as a certified practising accountant, specializing in company due diligence, corporate takeovers and tax related matters. Brad believes that change is necessary in all industries, and the use of technology allows the consumer to understand and be in control of their matters in real time while reducing their costs of needed services. Brad has held various Company Director Board positions, with strong emphasis on corporate governance, cash flow management, and regulatory compliance requirements. Brad holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Deakin University.
